The billionaire founder and owner of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, has banned on social media a young man who followed the movements of his personal plane with a robot.
Young Jack Sweeney, a 19-year-old college student from Florida, said Musk offered him $5,000 to stop the surveillance, but "asked him for $50,000."
He added, "I'm a SpaceX and Tesla fan, so after learning he had a plane, I thought the robot would help me understand where Musk was going and what he was doing."
And he continued: "Last November, Musk himself called me and asked me to disable the account for $5,000, fearing for his safety, and I submitted a counter offer asking him for $50,000 $, which I expected to spend on a college education or a Tesla Model 3."
"A lot of time and effort has been put into this, 5,000 is not enough to force me to quit," he said, and I think the billionaire would be "very angry."
Sweeney hopes Musk will "get back into the negotiations," and the youngster has started his own company, which tracks the planes of other famous people, including Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
“Flight tracking companies make millions a year,” Sweeney noted. "I would be happy if I could get even a small part of what they had".
