Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with CNN that there is "some understanding" in Russia's relations with the United States and NATO.
Commenting on the recent negotiations, the Kremlin representative added:
"However, the two sides are in general on two completely different paths, and this is not a good thing, and it is really worrying."
