Dusty Hill guitarist at ZZ Top has passed on at 72 years old, the band declared Wednesday.
The advertisement, endorsed by ZZ Top individuals Billy Gibbons and Frank Bird, said Hill passed on in his rest at his home in Houston, Texas.
“We are disheartened by the present news that our friend, Dusty Hill, kicked the bucket in his rest at his home in Houston, Texas,” the band said Wednesday. “Along with swarms of ZZ fans all throughout the planet, we will miss your unflinching presence, benevolence and consistent obligation to giving this colossal base to the top.”
The band was recently planned to play in Evansville on July 21, yet the show was dropped.
“We are disheartened by the news that Kompadre, Dusty Hill, passed on in his rest at his home in Houston, Texas. We will miss, alongside swarms of ZZ fans all throughout the planet, your unflinching presence, benevolence and suffering obligation to giving this gigantic base to the “top.” We will everlastingly be related with Blues Shuffle in C.
